Department of Education :

The Department of Education is responsible for supplying the Institutes and Material for the Education of our people. Although most of the Higher Educational Institutes have now been privatized, the Department stays responsible for the examinations. Primary Schools and the Basic Higher Education Schools fall directly under this Department. Education is Compulsorily until the age of 16.

Budget : The Departments Budget for the current year has been set at : U 160.000.000.000 (160 Billion Florins).

Primary & Basic Higher Education Schools : There are 750 Primary and Basic Higher Education Schools with an average of 18.000 students in 8 groups, on each school. Making a total of 13.500.000 (15,3 % of the population) students on State owned schools.
