Although The Grand Emirate and Democratic Union of Fixatia is ruled by Grand Emir himself (for live), The country is run Democratically.

The Federal Governments total budget is set at : U 2.000.000.000.000 (2 Trillion Florins).

Each Emirate has it's own National Government (In fact most of them enjoy a relatively large amount of Autonomy). The Federal Government can overrule National Governments about matters that could effect the Entire Nation. See the Section on Emirates Governments for more detail.

Government Departments generally have Bureau's heading each section of a Department.

The Federal National Assembly consists of :

• The National Chamber : All 480 Members are elected and remain in place for a term of 4 years, this happens in such a way that each year 120 "new" members join (it often happens that members get re-elected).
  • New Laws have to be passed by the Chamber before they go to the Senate for final approval. (If the Senate does not pass a new law, than it automatically gets referred back to the Chamber, who then have the option of modifying it until they believe that it will be acceptable by the Senate).
  • New members for the Senate are generally selected from members of the Chamber.
